Protecting What Matters: Swift Fire & Security achieve NSI Gold Standard Health & Safety and Environmental Accreditations
Swift Fire & Security are delighted to announce that we have gained both the:
- National Security Inspectorate (NSI) Occupational Health & Safety (H&S) Gold Scheme approval (in accordance with the requirements of BS OHSAS 18001:2007 certification)
- NSI Environmental Management System (EMS) Gold Scheme approval (in accordance with BS EN ISO 14001: 2004 certificate)
These Gold standard approvals demonstrate both our commitment to best practice within the two management systems and the high standards that Swift adhere to.
NSI Business Development Director, Graeme Hazlewood, presented Swift’s Managing Director Nigel Jackson with the latest Gold standard certificates at Swift’s recent Annual Business Conference and discussed the approvals:
“After rigorously auditing them, we were delighted to award Swift EMS Gold approval in 2014 and H&S Gold approval. Operating these two management systems demonstrates Swift’s commitment to health and safety best practice and environmental sustainability. These are areas that discerning customers are increasingly interested in and value. As one of the first fire and security companies to achieve these prestigious NSI approvals, Swift’s customers can be sure they are committed to providing a quality service and are willing and able to maintain the standards needed to retain them.”
Graeme Hazelwood also addressed the long standing relationship between the two companies:

Since then Swift have extended the scope of their certification by achieving approval for the Design, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of Fire Detection and Alarm Systems in 2005 in answer to customer demand and to enhance their position as one of the UK’s leading security and fire safety service providers.”
